There is little or no explanation to why these people still exist, sweating and panting in the unforgiving heat of summers, striving to earn a square meal, it’s not even about poverty, it’s more about humanity, more of an evidence that how cold our hearts have become, the deteriorating compassion towards our own kind, man riding over a man, what the picture lacks is a whip and it had been the epitome of cruelty but this guy has no one to plead to, no PETA will come to his rescue, but he could be awarded with false accusations and allegations or just plain brutal punches when the higher classes want to vent out their frustration. Many might not find anything wrong with the image, because this is not a man, not a fellow sapien, this is the animal we pay to ride on, this is just a beast of burden.

The Rohtak girls who garnered the limelight last year after the release of a video of them thrashing their alleged molesters in a Haryana Roadways bus have reportedly failed a polygraph test – where the police has yet refused to make the report public, some parts of it have somehow got leaked. The report also claim that their alleged molesters have however passed the test.
The two girls – Pooja and Aarti came under criticism last year as well when the conflict versions of the incident emerged, but this development can possibly turn the entire case against them.

What if CBI director once said “If you can’t stop rape, enjoy it”; what if Mulayam Singh once said “They are boys, they make mistakes”? They are our beloved country leaders and if they won’t practice freedom of speech then who will? Sure, India is the world’s biggest democracy, sure we recognize freedom of speech as our basic right but the fact that we are also a country that covertly favours elitism – is perhaps the sad part – and this video conveys that message well.

Time has come for courts to deal firmly with women filing false rape complaints as they are tormentors warranting punishment, a Delhi court has said.
False rape cases makes the crime graph shoot up, play havoc with the crime statistics and tend to trivialize the offence of rape and, "no sooner that the news of a person having been accused of rape spreads in the society, he is looked down upon by all and sundry," it observed.
While the act of rape causes intense emotional distress and immense humiliation to the victim, at the same time one cannot lose sight of the fact that false implication in a rape case causes equal humiliation, disgrace and mental agony to the accused, the court further said.
"He (rape accused) as well as his family is ostracised from the mainstream. He is humiliated and ridiculed everywhere. Even his honourable acquittal by the court is not taken note of and does little to salvage his lost honour and dignity. He has to live with the trauma of having been a rape accused throughout his life," Additional sessions judge Virender Bhat said.
The court made the remarks while directing lodging of a complaint against a woman who had registered a false rape case against a Delhi businessman at the behest of someone who wanted to settle scores with him.
"This court would be failing in its duty if appropriate proceedings are not initiated against the prosecutrix (woman) for giving false evidence against the accused," it said.

Jamuna Prasad, an Uber taxi driver in Delhi, on Friday handed Rs 1,000 to his wife to offer as 'prasad' at a local temple, with the US firm restarting its operations in the national capital after a gap of one and half months.
Prasad told ET that his wife was observing fast for the past four weeks for divine intervention to have the ban on Uber lifted and get her husband back to work.
The restart of Uber services in Delhi on Friday has come as a major relief for hundreds of drivers registered with it in Delhi as the San Francisco-based company started paying them, with immediate effect, Rs 3,000 per day -- that is, Rs 90,000 per month -- for just logging on to the Uber application for 12 hours in a day.

Dr Suman Bijlani lists women's common sexual concerns and what they mean for men...
Wonder why your wife/girlfriend seems "off sex" of late? Why does she complain of a headache just when you are in the mood? Fact is, as with men, sex is a big issue for women too. Only, due to conditioning or lack of awareness, most women don't articulate them.
Generally, women realise they have sexual problems only when:
- It affects their relationship
- Their partner starts complaining
- When they are depressed
- When they themselves get involved in an extra-marital affair.
Also, the nature of problems differs slightly with age.

India
In an effort to strengthen its presence in the luxury car space, Audi India is looking to launch improved versions of the Q3, A6 and Q7 models later this year.
"The Q3 and A6 would be launched during the second quarter (April-June) while the Q7 would be launched in the fourth quarter (October- December)," Twinkle Krishna, vice-president, operations, Audi Chennai, said.
This is being done in order to widen the gap with its closest competitor Mercedes Benz India.
Last year, Audi reported sales of 10,851 units in the country, a growth of more than 8% over 2013.
Mercedes Benz India reported annual sales of 10,201 units in 2014. It sold a total of 9,003 units in 2013.
The gap between the two luxury car markers is 650 units, and Audi is looking to embark on an experiential marketing campaign to bring in more customers into its fold.
"Under this, the experience would not be restricted to one test drive alone. Instead, customers can choose to test drive various models in the sedan and SUV (sports utility vehicles) on different days so that they would be fully able to understand all the product features across categories and models," Krishna said.

According to a report on India.com, Gauahar Khan had apparently paid a junior artist to slap her. While it was earlier reported that the actress was slapped on the finale episode of the reality show just for wearing a short dress, the truth seems to be quite different and shocking. As per the reports, accused Akil Malik revealed that he was a junior artist and he was searching for work from a long time and was told that if he slaps actress Gauhar Khan he will be paid handsomely and along with this he may get a well-paid role in Dabangg 3. The accused also maintained that he and Gauahar had a verbal agreement that she wouldn't report him to the cops and that there will be no legal action taken against him.

As the brief spring warms the landscape, northern India cuts loose for a day of hijinx and general hilarity.
The festival of Holi is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March every year.
Originally a festival to celebrate good harvests and fertility of the land, Holi is now a symbolic commemmoration of a legend from Hindu Mythology. The story centres around an arrogant king who resents his son Prahlada worshipping Lord Vishnu. He attempts to kill his son but fails each time. Finally, the king's sister Holika who is said to be immune to burning, sits with the boy in a huge fire. However, the prince Prahlada emerges unscathed, while his aunt burns to death. Holi commemorates this event from mythology, and huge bonfires are burnt on the eve of Holi as its symbolic representation.

This exuberant festival is also associated with the immortal love of Krishna and Radha, and hence, Holi is spread over 16 days in Vrindavan as well as Mathura - the two cities with which Lord Krishna shared a deep affiliation. Apart from the usual fun with coloured powder and water, Holi is marked by vibrant processions which are accompanied by folk songs, dances and a general sense of abandoned vitality.
