There's a request to deport Justin Bieber on the White House 'We the People' online petition site, and it’s got almost 200,000 signatures.
Can the US government deport Justin Bieber? We’re pretty sure that is not an agenda item for the next National Security Council Deputies Committee meeting. But there’s a request to deport the Canadian pop prince on the White House “We the People” online petition site, and it’s got almost 200,000 signatures. When an appeal gets that much support, the administration is supposed to officially respond.
What that response will be, we don’t yet know. The world holds its breath, apparently.
First, for all you Beliebers out there, don’t be too worried. The “We the People” site is not some sort of citizen vigilante Supreme Court. It’s a PR thing by the White House to make people feel they have an influence, however small, on the course of our great nation. Mr. Bieber will not be deported just because hundreds of thousands of Americans wish it. He’ll be deported because his music is terrible.
Ha, ha, just kidding kids! Can I have my Twitter feed back now?
Anyway, the White House (may) respond to this petition when it gets around to it. But that “response” may be just some sort of generic statement that it's heard the will of the people, or that this raises some serious issues, or that we should all calm down and listen to some Nickelback. It doesn’t have to involve action at all.

Yo Yo Honey Singh,

Yo Yo Honey Singh, 30, was called Honey at home. He lived in England where despite the British blacks, the American ones were followed and aped who would say 'Yo' for 'Yours'. So Honey added 'Yo Yo' to his name that means 'Your Honey Singh' or 'I am yours' as he says lovingly. From being 93 kgs to wanting to just create music, he has not just made it, but has made it big. He never celebrates his achievement as he has a big vision for himself. Post the success of his recent song 'Sunny Sunny' from 'Yaariyan', we spoke to the extremely simple and sorted rockstar. Excerpts:
You have had instant success. Let's talk about your journey to fame?
My success has not come easily, it has taken me more than 10 years. I was born in Delhi, have stayed and roamed the world, but had a tough childhood and career path. Only my mom and mausie supported me in music. So, I would just sing shabad kirtan to remain somehow attached to music. We then moved to Coventry in England as my dad had his business there. But I left home to come to London to learn music and worked as an apprentice to survive and would assist blacks from Miami for just 100 pounds a week. I had no money, no work and survival was very tough. Jassi Sidhu tried to get me work, but no one gave me a chance.
I would land up fighting with everyone in England and get fired from everywhere. They told me people in Punjab were more loving and there were lesser ego problems there, so I came to Punjab. We had our old house in Chandigarh, in which I opened my office. I never wanted to become Honey Singh. I was just 5 feet 9 inches, but 93 kgs. I only wanted to become a music director and wanted to give India a rockstar. But I soon realised that the kind of music I wanted to make was different from both, the bhangra market in England and the rural market in Punjab, and, thus, no one accepted my music even here. With two lakhs, I started working as a music director for a Punjabi album.

My mother had moved back with me to Punjab. I then met Ashok Mastie in Delhi, who asked me to make a song for him and I made a mainstream hip-hop song Glassi for him, but he did not like it. He told me that it would work in England but not India. I told him unfortunately it does not even work in England, but I will make it work in India. I then went back to England and a few months later, I was told that Ashok was frantically searching for me as his producer's son had really liked the song. I had only sung for the scratch version but they liked that and so I became a part of the song and also the video, as they felt I had this England look that would connect with the youth. By that time, I had lost weight and become 76 kgs. The video became No. 1 on the BBC World charts. But the irony was that no one in England knew either Ashok Mastie or Honey Singh and so none of us gained from it.

Ravi Shankar, who died on Wednesday aged 92, was the world's most famous sitar player, who popularised classical Indian music abroad largely through his work with The Beatles' George Harrison.
His extraordinary musical journey took him from the banks of the sacred River Ganges in British India to the legendary Monterey and Woodstock festivals, where he played alongside the likes of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.
At the height of his fame in the 1960s, when he was the darling of the hippie movement, he was described as "the most famous Indian musician on the planet" and his influence on pop music continues through his daughter, American singer Norah Jones.
Shankar taught Harrison to play the sitar and collaborated with him on several projects, including the groundbreaking charity Concert for Bangladesh in 1971. The Beatles called him "The Godfather of World Music".
Another collaborator, the violinist Yehudi Menuhin, compared his genius and humanity to Mozart.
Ravi Shankar was born into a high-caste Bengali family in the Hindu holy city of Varanasi in northern India on April 7, 1920.
He began his career at a young age, touring Europe with his brother Uday's dance troupe but returned to India in the late 1930s to study the sitar under the renowned musician Allaudin Khan.

Madonna, who strips bare to promote her new perfume, looks several decades younger than her 54 years in the arresting ad to promote her Truth or Dare by Madonna Naked scent.
The Queen of Pop has spent much of the year flashing the flesh at her live shows, and she's gone the whole hog on this occasion.
Only this time, she's arguably had the years turned back by a generous helping of the airbrush.
Striking a seductive pose with her hands behind her head, Madonna's blushes are spared by the bust-concealment of her new perfume's logo, the Sun reported.
The singer has been heavily criticised for refusing to gracefully accept middle age, choosing instead to defy her years onstage by donning youthful attire like a cheerleader's outfit.
However, a recent shot of her in New York showed Madonna looking every bit her age.
She wore a cosy gorilla hat for her low-key visit but her au naturel face appeared wrinkled.

In recent star news, rapper SOULJA BOY accidentally posted a pic of his penis on his Tumblr account.
Whoops!
Obviously, female celebrities aren’t the only ones who can “accidentally” post intimate photos of themselves on their social media accounts for everyone to enjoy… because as you can see, the boys can do it too.
Soulja Boy, who is something of a weed connoisseur, was probably high while he was fiddling around with his personal Tumblr account, because how else would he end up posting a photo of his little Soulja Boy on the Internet for all the world to see?
Once the rapper realized his mistake, he immediately took down the pic and posted an apology on his Tumblr—and this time, there were no more “accidental” uploads of the erect and veiny variety. He wrote:

SEOUL: South Korean pop sensation Psy's "Gangnam Style" has become the second most-watched YouTube video of all time with more than 620 million hits as the quirky rapper continues to take the world by storm.
The 34-year-old singer, whose real name is Park Jae-Sang, rocketed to international fame after "Gangnam Style", a techno ode to a trendy Seoul neighbourhood, become a worldwide hit following its debut in July.
The video went viral online with its goofy signature horse-riding dance and on Friday ousted singer Jennifer Lopez's dance hit "On the Floor" from second place. But it still trails behind Canadian teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber's "Baby", which has had over 795 million hits.
John Hirai, head of music at YouTube's Korea-Japan branch, told a conference in Seoul that Psy would pass Bieber on YouTube's most-watched list in about a month.

Singer Mika Singh, who's on a world tour these days, is on a double high. Not only have his shows in the US been well-received, he will also get a 'special gift' from Shah Rukh Khan.
The two recently met at a studio in Andheri and hit it off instantly over a common love for films and music. And when the actor learnt that the singer is hooked to gaming consoles, Khan later tweeted that he would gift Singh one.
Mika, who's understandably excited by the star's gesture, can't wait to lay his hands on the gift. He says, "I am a hardcore gaming freak. SRK will gift me the gaming console once I return from the US."

People from Britain prefer soundtracks to six-packs in the bedroom and music gets them more amorous than the touch of a partner, a new study has found.
Internet streaming site Spotify found that some of the people quizzed even said listening to some songs was "better than sex".
Marvin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing' was voted as the top track to get a partner in the mood and also the second best track to play while having sex.
Gaye's hit 'Let's Get it On' was also voted the best song to play during a romantic dinner.
Topping the list of songs people found more enjoyable than sex were Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and Kings of Leon's 'Sex on Fire'.

Drake began his career as an actor, appearing on the hit Canadian television series, “Degrassi: The Next Generation”. However, it was music that would make him a household name worldwide, and since 2006, he has been writing or recording successful track after successful track. His debut studio album, “Thank Me Later”, entered the hip-hop charts at #1 in 2010, and he has not stopped since. He has toured incessantly, appeared on multiple music programs and awards shows, and, in general, focused on building as wide a fan base as possible. While his softer, more sensitive form of hip hop has made him a hit with audiences, he has received less love from other hip hop musicians, who feel that he has a “watered down” sound and message. His laid back vibe is apparently something he cultivates in his musical life, but not in his personal life. He recently made headlines for refusing to pay nearly $400,000 for not showing up to a concert. A concert that he states he never knew he was supposed to attend. He is also involved in a strange case revolving around the ownership of a Rolex watch worth $30,000.

A Manhattan lawyer says that the watch Drake has, and which appears on the cover of his second album, was actually stolen by the jeweler, and sold to Drake. Drake has stated that he got his watch directly from Rolex, but the case continues to drag on anyway. Oh, yeah, and then there was that whole starting a brawl with Chris Brown at a club in New York City thing. Long story short, Drake is a young artist, who is in the midst of a meteoric rise, and is therefore experiencing all the ridiculous things that young, meteoric artists experience. He is also experiencing buying a truly “over the top” house.

Pop and R&B singer Justin Bieber has a net worth of $105 million. Born to a single mother in Ontario, Canada, Bieber began singing and playing music at an early age, being self-taught in piano, drums, trumpet and guitar. At age thirteen, Beiber started to post covers of artists such as Usher, Stevie Wonder and Justin Timberlake on video sharing website YouTube, mostly for the benefit of family members too distant to attend local performances. Bieber’s gained the attention of noted marketing executive Scooter Braun, who gave Beiber his break with an audition for Usher, who in turn had Bieber audition for Island Records with whom he signed. Bieber released a two part debut album, My World and My World 2.0. In less than two months after its initial release, My World reached the one million sold copies mark (U.S.A.) and was subsequently certified platinum by the RIAA. My World was the first debut album to have four singles (One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Love Me, and Favorite Girl) on the Top 40 prior to the album’s release.

Daniel Radcliffe didn’t know that singer behind ‘Baby’ and ‘one time’ was a boy.
One of the biggest pop stars of the current age includes Justin Beiber. His rise to success brought him both millions of fans and haters alike. But whether you like him or not, he sure has made an impression in the music industry and now stands amongst some of the top pop stars of today. One thing that really confused a lot of people about Justin Beiber is his gender.
Harry Potter’s star Daniel Radcliffe agrees that when he heard the songs Baby and One time, he thought that the singer behind was actually a girl. In an interview to MTV he admitted to have been out of the pop culture for so long that he doesn’t know what’s in and what’s out.
Daniel Radcliffe has a very different taste of music from what Bieber plays. The star is mostly seen busy listening to stuff like Radiohead rather than any pop song. When he first found out that Beiber was a boy, and not a woman, he was completely shocked. He isn’t that out of the mainstream music scene to not know the stars of current era.

Scientists now have a better understanding of why teens, girls in particular, become so passionate about some musicians.
The symptoms of "Bieber Fever" include uncontrollable screaming, swooning and spending hours on Twitter and Facebook.
It primarily affects preteen and teen girls, yet it is highly contagious and can infect mothers, too. In severe cases, sufferers camp out on sidewalks for days.
By disease standards, "Bieber Fever" is approaching a global pandemic with the release of the 18-year-old pop star's latest album 'Believe' last week.
