Bizarre news stories are fascinating to read but sometimes hard to believe. It is difficult to understand how some people get into the situations found on bizarre news sites, but they are extremely entertaining and make people feel better about themselves.
In California, a stolen car landed on the roof of a local home. The car was going too fast and hit a tree stump, causing the car to launch in the air and land on the roof. People were in the home when the car landed, but no one was injured too bad. The car had to be removed with a crane from a professional towing company. The driver fled the scene, but was arrested at his girlfriend's home later that night.
Also in California, drivers on the road experienced a literal fork in the road. A 62 year old retired teacher erected a six foot tall fork in the intersection of two streets. His inspiration came from the latest Muppet movie where the Muppets found a giant silverware fork when they were looking for a fork in the road.

Jacques Kallis, one of the greatest all-rounders of the game, today bid adieu to Test cricket after an illustrious 18-year career in a fairytale script as he hit a century in his swansong match in South Africa's 10-wicket thrashing of India on Monday.
The script for Kallis' Test retirement could not have been better as he ended his career as the third highest run- getter in the longest format of the game, besides also bowing out with a win by his side.
The 38-year-old 'King' Kallis ended his Test career on 13,289 runs from 166 Tests, only behind Sachin Tendulkar (15,921) and Ricky Ponting (13,378) in the all-time list.
His batting average stood at an outstanding 55.37 and has also taken 292 wickets and 200 catches. His 45 tons in Test cricket is only second to Tendulkar's 51.

Doctors treating Michael Schumacher refused Monday to predict the outcome for the former Formula One driver, saying they were taking his very critical head injury "hour by hour" following his ski accident.
Chief anesthesiologist Jean-Francois Payen told reporters that the seven-time champion is still in a medically induced coma. He said the medical team was focusing only on his current condition.
"We cannot predict the future for Michael Schumacher," Payen said. "It's too soon to talk about."
Schumacher, who is the most successful driver in Formula One history, arrived at the Grenoble University Hospital Center a day earlier already in a coma and immediately underwent brain surgery. Payen said he remains in critical condition, with severe bruising on his brain.

Yo Yo Honey Singh, 30, was called Honey at home. He lived in England where despite the British blacks, the American ones were followed and aped who would say 'Yo' for 'Yours'. So Honey added 'Yo Yo' to his name that means 'Your Honey Singh' or 'I am yours' as he says lovingly. From being 93 kgs to wanting to just create music, he has not just made it, but has made it big. He never celebrates his achievement as he has a big vision for himself. Post the success of his recent song 'Sunny Sunny' from 'Yaariyan', we spoke to the extremely simple and sorted rockstar. Excerpts:
You have had instant success. Let's talk about your journey to fame?
My success has not come easily, it has taken me more than 10 years. I was born in Delhi, have stayed and roamed the world, but had a tough childhood and career path. Only my mom and mausie supported me in music. So, I would just sing shabad kirtan to remain somehow attached to music. We then moved to Coventry in England as my dad had his business there. But I left home to come to London to learn music and worked as an apprentice to survive and would assist blacks from Miami for just 100 pounds a week. I had no money, no work and survival was very tough. Jassi Sidhu tried to get me work, but no one gave me a chance.
I would land up fighting with everyone in England and get fired from everywhere. They told me people in Punjab were more loving and there were lesser ego problems there, so I came to Punjab. We had our old house in Chandigarh, in which I opened my office. I never wanted to become Honey Singh. I was just 5 feet 9 inches, but 93 kgs. I only wanted to become a music director and wanted to give India a rockstar. But I soon realised that the kind of music I wanted to make was different from both, the bhangra market in England and the rural market in Punjab, and, thus, no one accepted my music even here. With two lakhs, I started working as a music director for a Punjabi album.
My mother had moved back with me to Punjab. I then met Ashok Mastie in Delhi, who asked me to make a song for him and I made a mainstream hip-hop song Glassi for him, but he did not like it. He told me that it would work in England but not India. I told him unfortunately it does not even work in England, but I will make it work in India. I then went back to England and a few months later, I was told that Ashok was frantically searching for me as his producer's son had really liked the song. I had only sung for the scratch version but they liked that and so I became a part of the song and also the video, as they felt I had this England look that would connect with the youth. By that time, I had lost weight and become 76 kgs. The video became No. 1 on the BBC World charts. But the irony was that no one in England knew either Ashok Mastie or Honey Singh and so none of us gained from it.

Here's a tip to see how imaginative she is, and how open she is to you.
You can use this after the approach, and after you've gotten a few unconscious, "all clear" signals from her.
You basically tell her a story about how a buddy of yours fell in love. Start off by saying how stupid or lame you think it is, and how you and all your other guy friends are always giving him a hard time.
Just describe how he met this girl, and they instantly hit it off.
Don't worry about using any kind of weasel tips or self points or anything like that.
Just describe how your "buddy" feel completely head over heels for this girl, and that whenever he talks about her, he changes his voice, facial expressions, etc.

Umbrella Insurance is only for the rich. I am alive so I need Life Insurance, right? My co-worker is uninsured and that doesn't effect my insurance. Learn why these insurance myths are inaccurate and find out answers to the top 10 insurance myths everyone should know.
Myth #1: Insurance Should be Bought and Used for Every Disaster
Insurance is designed to protect one from catastrophic disasters. An insurance rule of thumb: If you can pay for the loss or damage without a financial hardship then pay it, otherwise expect your insurance premium to eventually show an increase. Also, buying every type of insurance just isn't necessary. Sometimes the risk is worth taking rather than paying a premium.
Myth #2: If I am Alive, I Must Need Life Insurance!
Life insurance is designed to take care of one's dependants after the caregiver's death. If you have no dependants, then you probably don't need life insurance. This includes children and retired persons... usually they don't have people that depend on their income so life insurance for these groups can, in rare instances, be beneficial but is usually unnecessary.

Do you want to discover the secrets on how to get girls to like you? There are secrets that women don't want you to know, these secrets are related to how women think and react when it comes to emotional attraction.
Putting on a 'Don't care' attitude - Don't go out your way to compliment a girl, don't even try to impress her. Act in a way like you don't care about her, talk to her the same way you talk to a guy. By putting on a 'don't care' attitude, she will want your attention instead and is more attracted towards you.
Don't appear needy - Appear that you are content being yourself and don't need any attention from anyone. This type of attitude indicates that you are confident of yourself and girls will naturally draw towards you.

How many times have you heard the saying that women like to be chased? While this is true, it is only the case some of the time. The truth is, women enjoy chasing men just as much as the other way around. But how can you learn how to get girls to chase you?
There are some tips you can follow to boost your success, and have the ladies lining up at your door.
1 - Be Aloof, Not Cold
This should always be the first rule, and it is always the one that men get wrong. In an attempt to seem aloof, they instead put of an unapproachable, cold, or even threatening air. Your goal is not to seem as though you don't want to be spoken to. It is to act as though you aren't even thinking about it.
While you should seem above worries of how you appear, or others speaking to you, there should be a casual air to it. Seem cool, confident, and easy going. Think of how someone with that kind of smooth aloofness would act, and imitate it. In simple terms: you want to be the cool guy, not the jerk.

Payday Loan,

Maybe you've heard of payday loans but don't know how to go about applying for one, or maybe you've never even heard of a payday loan. This is because short term credits aren't offered in every state. While they are easy to get since there is no credit check, they can be easily abused.
The Payday Loan Process
The reason it is called a "payday" loan is because it is designed to be a short-term loan which must be paid back by your next payday. If you can't pay it back in its entirety by your next pay date, you must at least pay the interest on the loan to avoid having it automatically taken out of your bank account.
This is where it gets tricky. Most people don't realize how high an interest rate of 16% can be. This is the average amount of interest charged by check cashing places. For example, if you take out a loan for $300 and cannot afford to pay it back in full, you must pay the interest of $50 every two weeks. $100 a month is a big extra bill to take on for some people.

Ending the fortnight-long deadlock, the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday staked claim to form the government in the national capital with outside support from the Congress which it had trounced in the December 4 assembly polls.
After the political affairs committee (PAC) met this morning and decided to go with the results of the 'referendum' which overwhelmingly favoured the party taking the reins of power, AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal met lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung and handed over him a letter staking claim to form government.
45-year-old Kejriwal, who was the party's face in the elections, will be the new chief minister who will be sworn-in at a public event in the Ramlila Maidan, the venue of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement for a Janlokpal Bill.

Amidst the collective surge of outrage back home and a huge Indo-US diplomatic fracas over the shoddy treatment meted out to India's deputy counsel general in New York Devyani Khobragade — who has now been shifted to the United Nations Permanent Mission — some very serious labour and immigration issues seem to have been swept under the carpet.
The charges that Khobragade faces, as summed up by Preet Bharara, US attorney for the southern district of New York in a press statement on Thursday, are that she tried to evade US law designed to protect domestic employees of diplomats and consular officers from exploitation. "Not only did she try to evade the law but, as further alleged, she caused the victim and her spouse to attest to false documents and be a part of her scheme to lie to the US," Bharara's statement said.

One of the reasons Facebook can be such an asset to do business online is due to the social atmosphere that thrives there. If you think about it, don't you naturally talk about things that you buy, or restaurants where you eat, or the place you bought your car or contracted with to clean your carpets. If you're happy with the result you get, you talk about it.
On Facebook, you post a picture and make a comment. Then someone else might reply to the comment and before you know it there is a whole stream of comments. If you talk about an object or a service, someone who is interested wants to learn more about them. How great is it for that business if they have a Facebook page set up and your friend can go immediately there to check it out.

On Twitter, you have the opportunity to follow other people or businesses and they can follow you, as long as you both have your accounts set up as public. There is also the opportunity to make your account private, and manually approve all requests to connect. There are conversations happening about pretty much any topic you can think of and with the launch of hashtags, where you attach a hashtag symbol to a keyword, you can follow an ongoing exchange.
Businesses can profit on Twitter for a number of reasons. First, it can be the favorite place to be online for many of your customers. To connect with prospects or customers, you need to be where they are. Second, people are talking about the products or services your business can provide, whether you or there or not. What better way to prospect than to observe a conversation and be able to provide help, support, instruction or enlightenment. When done in a genuine and authentic way, and not with sole intent to sell something, your valuable input is welcome.

A casino owner-turned-commercial developer is asking $7.85 million to sell a Las Vegas home, and he's willing to accept the online currency bitcoin for the deal.
Jack Sommer said he got the idea to seek bitcoin for his 25,000-square-foot (2,300-square meter) mansion from two of his sons, who've been involved in making and trading the currency.
"The advantage is that we're expanding our market and adding some notoriety," Sommer said.
Bitcoin peer-to-peer trading began in 2009. Value is purchased through an exchange website with a mainstream paper currency, such as dollars or euros, though trading isn't government-regulated.
Using the currency can streamline international business deals, said Julian Tosh, a consultant and owner of the marketplace website bitcoinsinvegas.com.
"There are a bunch of people who have bitcoins, and they're dying for a place to spend it," Tosh told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

That's Mega Millions' second-largest jackpot ever, trailing a $656 million jackpot in March 2012 -- and the fourth-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.
