If you're the type who doesn't like to hang out alone, why not invite some friends over for a singles' party? As cliched as it sounds, you could even try having an all-guy gaming session or an all-girl pajama party or just have all your single friends over to hang out. 

Okay, let's face it. You're one of those who actually feel sad about not having a date on Valentine's. Well, pamper yourself with some sympathy then — yes you read right! If you have nobody to listen to you crib about being single on V-Day and if that's all you want — rent out some super romantic films and cry yourself a river about how beautiful love is. It will definitely make you feel better and you don't have to tell anyone about this ever! 

Stepping out on the evening of Valentines is probably a bad idea even if you just want to grab a quick cuppa. Short of heart shaped confetti raining atop your head, everything cheesy is bound to happen to you, including uncomfortable coffee-shop PDA and long waiting hours, almost everywhere.
