UPSC Medical Officer recruitment final results

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for its recruitment for 39 posts of Medical Officer in the Department of Medical and Public Health in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
The recruitment was conducted in two parts: written test and interview.
List of finalised candidates who cleared both rounds is available on the UPSC website.
The written test consisted of objective type multiple choice questions with negative marking applicable and a maximum of 100 marks.
Subjects were: General Ability and General Awareness, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Preventive and Social Medicine at MBBS level.
The test was conducted on June 16, 2013, and results were declared on August 2013, with 131 clearing the written test (provisionally) and were declared eligible for the interview round. However, only two candidates have successfully cleared the interview round.
Released in January 2013, a total of 39 Medical Officer Posts were available with 5 posts for SC candidates, 2 posts for ST candidates and 10 posts for OBC candidates with the remaining posts unreserved.
The selected Medical Officer would be responsible for attending to out-patient department (OPD), in-patient department (IPD), emergency, medico-legal (MLC) and post-mortem cases at the head quarter Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
