1. The chemical formula for methamphetamine is shown during the opening credits.

2. Jesse Pinkman was initially supposed to be killed off by the end of season one, but Aaron Paul’s performance changed minds enough to make him a massively significant part of the series.
3. There is meaning behind the color schemes of Breaking Bad. Walter WHITE usually wears GREEN, Skyler wears BLUE, which is also the color of the crystal. Jesse PINKman’s clothing is often yellow & red, Hank & Gomez ORANGE, Marie PURPLE and the newborn Whites’ daughter, PINK. Also, Walt lives on Negra Arroyo Lane – which translates to BLACK Creek.

4. The classic, blue Breaking Bad meth was visible in a scene of The Walking Dead. Specifically in Daryl Dixon’s bag of pre-apocalypse acquired drugs.

5. Gus Fring’s death is foreshadowed in the eighth episode of season four titled, Hermanos. As he stands on an elevator after speaking with Hank and other DEA agents, a “ding” sound, much like that of Hector Salamanca’s notorious bell, can be heard repeatedly.

6. Samuel L. Jackson wanted to be an extra on Breaking Bad.While filming The Avengers in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jackson hoped to be seen in full Nick Fury costume, eye patch and all, casually existing in the background of Pollos Hermanos chicken restaurant.
7. Bryan Cranston has “Br Ba,” (for Breaking Bad) tattooed on his ring finger.
8. RJ Mitte (aka Walter Jr. aka Flynn) has cerebral palsy in real life, but his character on the show suffers from a more severe form, walking on crutches and having a speech impediment.
9. Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) was only scheduled to appear in 3-4 episodes, but wound up being in 26. Hector Salamanca would’ve been the main antagonist for this period instead.
10. Marius Stan, the bushy eyebrow having gentlemen who plays Bogdan Wolynetz (owner of the carwash Walt worked at) is actually a brilliant scientist in real life.
11. Ted Benneke can be seen in one of Skyler’s old photos during the season two premiere episode, Seven Thirty-Seven – he doesn’t appear until the 7thepisode of season two, Negro y Azul.

13. The epic scene where Walter throws a pizza on the roof was done in one take. One, perfect, unlikely take to heave that ginormous pie into the air and stick a perfect landing. Here’s Cranston & company talking about it.

14. Jane’s death was foreshadowed in the script, when she said things like “I think I just threw up in my mouth a little” or “Lie on your side or you might choke.” Also, when Jesse attempts to surprise her with breakfast in bed, he says “You weren’t supposed to wake up.” to which Jane replies, “Ever?”
15. Walt’s alter ego, Heisenberg, is named as a tribute to 20th century physicist, Werner Heisenberg. Wener was a key creator of quantum mechanics, and died in 1976, of cancer.
16. Dean Norris (Hank) was offered a role on a sitcom during the filimg of the first half of Breaking Bad season five. Norris suggested to creator Vince Gilligan that perhaps killing Hank within the first eight episodes would shock and awe fans, but his proposals were denied.
17. The crystal blue meth is just rock candy.
18. The original blue ranger was named Billy Cranston, after Bryan Cranston who did voiceover work for Saban Entertainment – including the monsters on Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.

19. Vince Gilligan produced The X-Files, which had episodes featuring Bryan Cranston, Dean Norris and Aaron Paul.
20. Jesse Pinkman was on an episode of The Price Is Right, and he was oober enthusiastic. Good old Aaron Paul, he made it to the showcase showdown but unfortunately the price was wrong, bitch. TC Mark
